Wicked is the untold origin story of the witches from the Wizard of Oz, focusing on the unlikely friendship between Elphaba (the future Wicked Witch of the West, known for her green skin) and Galinda (Glinda the Good). The story follows their journey from college roommates who initially dislike each other to becoming influential figures in Oz, with their choices leading them down different paths shaped by prejudice and their fight for animal rights, ultimately defining their destinies.
